Our first stop will be the Aya Yorgi Church, one of the highest points of Büyükada. Decamping to this hill, we will have a pleasant walk among the greenery of the island and when we reach the top, we will be greeted by a magnificent view of the Marmara Sea. Here, we will have plenty of time to take panoramic photos.
Aya Yorgi Church is a building dating from the Byzantine period and fascinates with its landscape as much as its story. According to rumor, the wishes of those who walked out to this church would be accepted. In this historical and mystical atmosphere, we will capture beautiful frames from each other.
After descending the hill, we will take a break in one of the colorful cafes of Büyükada. Here, we will enjoy the unique atmosphere of the island by sipping our freshly brewed teas. While drinking our tea, we will share mysterious information about the history of the islands. For example, the islands, which were used as places of exile during the Byzantine Empire, have witnessed many historical events.
In the continuation of our trip, we will explore other historical and natural beauties of Büyükada. Starting from the pier and walking around the island, historical mansions, quiet beaches and peaceful woodlands will be waiting for us. While immortalizing these moments with my professional equipment, we will encounter different stories in every corner of the island.
